Acne Treatments
Acne is an aggravating and sometimes embarrassing skin condition that affects people of every age, gender, and race. Very few skin conditions are as troublesome and disturbing. The scientific name for acne is acne vulgaris. Acne typically develops on plainly visible areas of the body, such as the face, neck, chest and back.
Patients with moderately severe acne can benefit from a new approach called photodynamic therapy. These treatments can be used alongside conventional treatments, independently or combined together to achieve the optimum results. Two options are the Isolaz or the BLU-U® Blue Light Photodynamic Therapy Illuminator with Levulan®. We can combine the Harmony® Advanced Fluorescence Technology System and the BLU-U® Blue Light Photodynamic Therapy Illuminator with Levulan® to enhance the results of both systems.

The intense blue wavelengths target certain acne bacteria and destroys them without damaging the surrounding tissues.
This non-invasive treatment is completely pain-free and has no adverse side effects. It is a very simple procedure and doesn't require any downtime either! No topical ointments or other drugs are necessary to rid yourself of acne!

Botox®
Botox is a very purified toxin derived from the bacteria clostridium botulinum. It is designed to reduce the appearance of wrinkles and frown lines. Botox is injected into the skin in very small and safe amounts. It selectively blocks the function of specific muscles that cause wrinkles to form. Botox is typically injected into the frown lines, forehead lines and crow's feet lines. It is also an excellent method for treating excess sweating under the arms, the palms and bottom of the feet. It reduces or eliminates sweating for up to 9 months.
Following the first session, results may last 3 to 4 months. After subsequent sessions, results can last 5 to 6 months. Botox wears off gradually, so there is enough time to schedule subsequent appointments.

Restylane®
Restylane is a safe, natural dermal filler designed to restore fullness and correct moderate to severe facial wrinkles and folds. As we age, the face loses its shape. Restylane simply restores that fullness and provides a smoother contour to the face.
Restylane is the first and only dermal filler made of non-animal-based hyaluronic acid. Hyaluronic acid is a substance that naturally exists in the human body, and gives volume and fullness to the skin. The hyaluronic acid in restylane is a crystal-clear gel that is eco-friendly and completely biocompatible with human hyaluronic acid.
Because restylane is non-animal-based, there is virtually no risk of animal-based disease transmission or allergic reaction.

Sclerotherapy
Millions of women have spider veins - those small yet unattractive clusters of red, blue or purple veins that most commonly develop on the thighs, calves and ankles. Actually, it's estimated that at least half of the adult female population is dealing with this common cosmetic problem.
Nowadays, spider veins are treated with sclerotherapy. During this simple procedure, veins are injected with a sclerosing solution, causing them to collapse and fade away. Sclerotherapy may also alleviate the symptoms commonly associated with spider veins, such as aching, burning, swelling and night cramps.

Spider Veins
Spider veins are small, thin veins that appear close to the surface of the skin. Though these super-fine veins are connected with the larger venous system, they are not a necessary part of it.
Several factors contribute to the formation of spider veins, including heredity, the use of certain medications, occupations or activities that require prolonged sitting or standing, pregnancy and other events that can cause hormonal shifts and weight gain.
Today, many dermatologists treat spider veins with sclerotherapy. During this simple procedure, veins are injected with a sclerosing solution that causes them to collapse and fade away.

Several treatment options are available, including, FotoFacial/IPL treatments, laser resurfacing, bleaching creams and chemical peels.

Tatoo Removal
There are various methods available to remove tattoos. The infrared tattoo removal technique is often referred to as the "Burn Method of Tattoo Removal". This method literally burns away ink pigments to be flushed away by the body's natural process.
Removing colorful tattoos aren't a problem either; however, removing yellows, pastels and green inks may be more difficult.
