Pixel Perfect™ is a fractional rejuvenation procedure used to reverse the signs of aging. This laser technology dramatically improves the tone and texture of the skin, and stimulates collagen growth.
Pixel Perfect fills in acne scars, clears sun-damage, smoothes wrinkles and fine lines, shrinks pores and blends in uneven pigmentation.
Treatments do not require surgery or injections. After treatment, your skin will appear flushed and red, similar to a sunburn. These side effects are normal and should improve quickly. Dr. Stiefler may prescribe an over-the-counter pain medicine for comfort.

Fraxel
Using the Fraxel laser we can precisely treat thousands of microscopic areas of skin. During the procedure, laser beams penetrate beneath the skin's surface to remove old, damaged skin cells. This stimulates the body's natural healing process to replace damaged skin with healthy skin.
Fraxel treatment improves skin texture and tone, reduces wrinkles around the eyes, and improves the appearance of surgical and acne scars. It can also be used to effectively treat brown spots and Melasma (pregnancy mask).
You can decide how you best want to achieve optimal results, depending on the condition of your skin. Aggressive treatments require fewer sessions, but also can cause more side effects, which means you'll need more downtime. With less aggressive treatment, you can get the same results, but you'll have a few more sessions. Side effects are minimal. Depending on your skin type and its condition, fewer, gentler treatments may be best.

VariLite Laser Treatment
Using the VariLite laser, we can effectively treat spider veins, rosacea, facial telangiectasia, freckles, and lentigines. During the procedure, the laser delivers an intense beam of light to the specific treatment area. The light is absorbed by the bright red blood cells that carry oxygen (oxyhemoglobin) and melanin (the black or brown pigment in the skin). As a result, unwanted cells are destroyed, leaving healthy cells intact.
After treatment, you may notice redness. This should subside after several hours. You may also have swelling, which should go away within 1 to 2 days. The VariLite laser does not cause a purple skin discoloration or bruised appearance.
Post-operative care is minimal. Dr. Stiefler may prescribe an anti-bacterial ointment for you to apply to the treated area for a short time. He may also recommend that you stay out of the sun during the healing process.
For vascular lesions, you should notice optimal results 10 to 14 days after treatment. For pigmented lesions, you should see optimal improvements within 2 to 3 weeks. You may resume normal activities after treatment.
